i know how bad it hurts, and i know how each tear that falls brings back a precious memory. i know how bad it tortures you as you wonder what could have been, and what it might be now. but as you have been blessed with the presence of any of these people who have gone before us before, learn to let go as you have recieved. their memory will never truly leave, but will only serve to make you a stronger person, with a bigger heart and a greater love for the things around you.

the song above was sung to us by our seniors in RGS, and it was their platoonmate who passed away, my senior who was my PSL when i was sec1 and whom we had always looked up to. we found it strangely and chillingly appropriate as we looked back after everything was over. we cried and we prayed but in the end God took her into His mighty hands. we shared a quiet solemn moment contemplating the meaning behind the song, and we emerged quietly more mature, and with a greater understanding of life and death. till now, i think of her occassionally, and i know without a doubt her passing has made me a stronger person, and i hope you would feel it too.

nette thanks for being there for me. i'm okay, really.
it's just that there are no words left to speak.
you'd think i'd have seen it coming. and in a way i did-- we did, but we didn't do enough to try and stop him or help him.
but i'm okay, really. i'll just need to sleep it off or something.

bah bah bah.
stupid monster coerced me (alright, so i was a bit of a willing victim) into taking leave for rag meeting and og outing this wednesday. i feel sad. out of the 10 short days i have left before work ends (since it's patently clear that i'm not working till 27th july as i'd originally happily envisioned as some sort of idyllic halcyon vision) i now have 9 left. and since today is over that's 8 days left.
sigh sigh sigh.
alright. cycling endorphin boost!

humph. loser lynette is assuming that i do love her. which, let me assure all my loyal fans out there, is a humongous assumption based on no grounds at all but sullied shifting sands. humphs!! i of course adore only the one amazing awesome soulful inspiring uplifting jj lin jun jie! (um. and misaki too, but let's keep jj in mind first haha)
